The American Legion Hospital has been committed to providing high quality and compassionate health care for our patients for over one hundred years. Today, the American Legion Hospital provides accommodations for 178 patients and employs over 450 highly trained and dedicated professionals to care for your needs.
In cooperation with our medical staff, the American Legion Hospital provides for acute medical and surgical care, obstetric, gynecology, pediatric, orthopedic, otolaryngology, cardiac, psychiatry, nephrology, ophthalmology, oncology, emergency services, vein therapy, wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
In addition to the main campus, the hospital operates a psychiatric hospital in Rayne. Two outpatient departments of the hospital are offsite, Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine located in Tower One; and, American Legion Hospital Cardiac Outpatient Services located on Northern Avenue.
